Anyone updated the latest firmware? Since I did this week, the Optical Out sound isn't working. anyone else had this problem or can suggest a fix? I have the optical cable connected from the PS3 to my Samsung home theatre system.

Just make sure the sound wasn't put back to hdmi or av, check settings, then sound settings, then audio output settings and choose optical digital, also check if the audio multi output is switched off, see how you go......

Yeah, done that. EVery time I set to Optical, nothing comes out at all. Very frustrating.
