MOC Figure Packing & Storage Empty MOC Figure Packing & Storage

Post by diabolikprime on Wed Nov 10, 2010 2:58 am

Just wondered if any of you guys had any tips or hints about long term storage for MOC figures i.e. preferred boxes, bubble wrap, etc.

I am currently going through the daunting task of opening up boxes and taking pictures of figures that I have not seen in years. Once I am finished I want to put them into storage somewhere to make space.
Any ideas or tips would be appreciated. Smile

I usually go with study plastic containers (you can pick these up pretty cheap from $2 stores) as they don't collapse easily and although probably not air tight the lids keep the nasties out (I've had bad experiences with cardboard boxes getting water damage and even worse silverfish eating the figure's cards). Inside the containers I usually try to stack them vertically if possible (to avoid gravity crushing themselves) and divide them with bubble wrap (can be expensive, newspaper is an ok alternative).
